Introduction

Kakakhel Law Associates is an International Law Firm of Lawyers and jurists of Eminence and repute based in Peshawar and Islamabad, providing legal services in all cities of Pakistan and around the World. Formed by its founder Mian Muhibullah Kakakhel Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of Pakistan. Some more than two decades back, is providing legal assistance to the people at large in the fields of Civil , Criminal, Revenue, Banking, Customs, Taxation and International Law. In the chamber of Mr. Kakakhel, cases in the nature of probono-publico and Human Rights are also taken care of by specialist dedicated lawyers.

Cases of highest judicial and political importance have been conducted by Mr. Kakakhel in the past. The case of separation of judiciary from Executive was filed by Mr. Kakakhel's team which was finally decided by the Supreme Court of Pakistan although on a different petition. The first ever case against the Military Regime of General Pervez Musharraf was filed by Mr. Kakakhel in the case of Chief Minister N.W.F.P now Khyber Pakkhtunkhwa Mr. Mehtab Ahmad Khan Abbasi versus National Accountability Bureau and other high Military hierarchy. The petition was numbered as writ petition No. 1 of 2000.

The case of Ex. Chief Minister Inayatullah Khan Gandapur and some other chief ministers were also conducted through Mr. Kakakhel.

Mr. Kakakhel was one of the lawyers defending Chief Justice of Pakistan Syed Sajjad Ali Shah before the Peshawar High Court. He conducted the case of Allama Arif Hussain-al-Hussaini in which Late Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa General Fazl-e-Haq was an accused. 

Innumerable cases relating to elections of both National and Provincial assemblies have been conducted by Mr. Kakakhel besides cases relating to Local Government.

Recently Mr. Gorsaran Lal, Molana Dildar, Begum Rukhsana raz, Yasmine Khalid, the members of provincial assembly compulsorily removed from the assembly filed writ petitions through mr. Kakakhel in the Peshawar high court. The M.P.As were reinstated by the High court.

Deputy speaker of provincial assembly NWFP Mr. Ikram ullah Shahid had also challenged his removal from the post of deputy speaker NWFP. The honorable High court restored him to his job .

Legal advice regarding convening of Courts Martial and defense therein is also a specialty of this chamber. Mr. Kakakhel is regularly conducting the cases in the matters given in the areas of his expertise

The chamber is equipped with a latest library on all the branches of Law. Legal publications of Pakistan and countries like India , USA , UK and other common wealth countries are available in the library. The library is free for consultation to all the lawyers.

The chamber has a team of lawyers and accommodates a large number of juniors. Mr. Kakakhel is regularly consulted by newsmen and media on issues touching national and international importance which opinion is published in both national and international dailies. The interviews of Mr. Kakakhel relating to national and international issues are broadcast by Television on different occasions.

Mr. Kakakhel has written several books on different Branches of law. The biggest and the most important achievement of this chamber is that almost all the clients have been given satisfactory legal services.

So many junior lawyers of this chamber are serving in the judiciary as Judges at different pedestals.
